CURLING EVENT - Liptovsky Mikulas

Split is not a city in Croatia and tee line does not refer to tea. What is more, sweeping is a kind of art. And this is curling.

Curling is a team sport played on a rectangular sheet of carefully prepared ice with two colourful circles similar to targets at both ends.
Curling is played between two teams of four curlers each. Teams have a set of 8 stones with different colour for each team, curling shoes and special brooms. Curling is an olympic sport which originated in Scotland.

Generally it is said that curling is easier for women because they are more flexible and they can copy the ice better while sliding the stones down the ice towards the targets. On the other hand, men can sweep faster and longer.
Although it does not seem so, this sport is very social.
An unwritten rule says that the winners invite losers for a drink.
