This year our offer was extended by Geocaching – the most appealing programme in 2007.

What is geocatching?

Geocatching is an adventure game for users of the GPS Navigators. A treasure is hidden (a cache) anywhere in the world and your task is to find it by using the GPS. It is easy, isn´t it? But do not forget that you will have to search for it in an unknown terrain and to rely on the navigator and your skills! Caches can be located in cities/towns or in the nature.

What is the GPS Navigator?

It is a receiver with navigation equipment which receives satellite signals to direct you to a desirable place. It is required to put co – ordinates of the cache and the GPS will navigate you to the target.

What are you searching for?

It is usually a visitor´s book, pen or pencil put in a waterproof container. There is, of course, a gift for a finder (toys, CD, pendants...) The caches are usually geographically interesting natural phenomena – rocks, caves, etc., sights in the cities which are interesting from historical or architectural point of view.
We have prepared various caches of different difficulty for you in beautiful Liptov region. You can borrow the GPS equipment and search for caches available on the internet. GPS activities can be performed as a competition among individuals or groups.
