RAFTING THE HRON RIVER

The only one river in Slovakia on which it is possible to go white water rafting on its whole length. It takes from 10 to 12 days. The river rises under Kráľova hoľa in the Low Tatras and joins the Danube at Štúrovo.
We will go white water rafting on 2 or 6-seat inflatable rafting boats in the passage starting at village Nemecká continuing to Sliač which is navigable all year round. The navigation in this river passage is dynamic and sporting.
There other advantages of rafting in this passage are pubs, restaurants and snack bars on every village near the river. There are also campsites (Nemecká, Slov. Ľupča a Iliáš under B.Bystrica) with social facilities mostly attractive for female members of the crew. You can enjoy adrenaline attractions there cliffdiving (jumping from the rock into the water) - Jumpstone rock (5 m high).
