RAFTING THE RIVER ORAVA - rafting, downriver - Slovakia

It is a less demanding navigation, the water is predominantly calm without any greater difficulties with a beautiful panorama of untouched nature in Orava region. Navigation on the Orava river is suitable for beginners as well as families with children.
It is possible to go rafting on the Orava river along its whole flow from Tvrdosin to the confluence with the Vah river in Kralovany. One of the advantages comparing to the rivers flowing in the southern part of Slovakia is that there are much less mosquitos.
We have choosen for you a passage starting under the Orava castle and continuing to Kralovany. It is an all-day navigation with a possibility of break in a campsite Tilia Gacel under Dolny Kubin to refresh yourself, have some lunch or stay for a night. The passage can be divided into two separate half -day trips.
